About Us
Wild Abundance Forest School is based on the edge of the village of Swaffham Prior on the Scout Field and accompanying woodland. We are a locally owned and set up by Molly Richards who is the Cub Scout Leader in Swaffham Prior. We feel passionately that all children should have a connection to nature which can be fostered and developed in each and every forest school session. We are led by the forest school ethos, making all sessions full of child led adventures, allowing children to develop resilience, confidence, self-esteem and independence whilst learning risk management through risky play and fostering a deep respect for nature. We believe nature should be an integral part of every child's life and aim to support parents in using nature in your child's learning and development.
Tree Planting Project
We have been approved for an application to plant Wild Harvest trees by The Woodland Trust in November 2024! We are incredibly excited to involve the children in planting hazel, blackthorn, crab apple, elder, dog rose and rowan trees. This means we will have even more natural resources for our fun filled Forest School sessions and the children will get the joy of watching their trees grow!
